POST!

So, I broke my promise to myself to post in a weekly fashion. I have determined it is going to be next to impossible. Thus I have a solution. I miss a week...I post twice as much the following week. Since I managed to do just that....Here are a crapload of random images.

Mediums used: Brush pen/markers, guache paint and Photoshop.

Messin' round

This is what happens during life drawing breaks.
I found this really loose sketch of a sly lookin dude on a board...and it inspired me to 'build upon it'.
I colored it in with white and red conte, gave him a nose bleed and a superhero/villain mask, plus touched up some of the curves. The end result was this guy, a douche bag lookin superhero or villain and me defacing a drawing board.

Characters and Struggles

As an artist I'm always trying to improve upon my skills, in every medium and in everyway possible. I can also determine which mediums and skills I need to improve in. First and foremost on my list of ' things to get better at ' is digital art. I haven't had much mentoring in the digital world, and already just being around my peers I've already gotten better than I was before.

Anyways, I'm hoping by the end of the year I'll have wholly familiarized myself with at least Photoshop. Shouldn't be to hard. In the meantime, here are some digital drawings done over some loose sketches.

Sketches and Such

Yep. So I got an image up. I'll most surely be sticking up random character sketches and other such nonsense as I go along. Doodles in pen, marker, watercolour...and a crapload of col-erase. So, here is to the first of many...I hope.
